Sam Cannon is a director and creative director based in Los Angeles, working across commercial, editorial, and live entertainment. Her prowess in practical and CGI effects has become an essential element of her work—often creating the visual effects for her projects. A passion for lighting and stage design can be seen in her theatrical approach to video and immersive installations.

Her commercial and editorial clients include Apple, Nike, Sony, Adobe, The New Yorker, Wired, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. She has creative directed live entertainment for No Doubt's Sphere residency, Panic! At The Disco's When We Were Young festival performances, and KAYSEYE's Lollapalooza set. Her artist collaborations span Poppy, G-Dragon, Grimes, Ava Max, and Moses Sumney.

Variety named Cannon one of their "10 Storytellers to Watch." The Impression included her in their "50 Female Creatives Representing the Next Generation of Talent." She has exhibited at Art Basel Miami Beach, Mana Contemporary, and SPRING/BREAK Art Fair.
